On Thursday, 29 October 2015, the time capsule was prepared and placed in the sphere of the castle tower spire to replace the previous time capsule dating from the last refurbishment of Lidzbark castle, found there last week. A letter consisting of two pages describing the scope of refurbishment and conservation works conducted, the financing of them and the company and team conducting the works was placed in the new capsule. Moreover, we put in it the latest, Thursday edition of the Gazeta Lidzbarska and the leaflet on the event that took place in the Castle this year – “The castle comes to life” of 18 July 2015”. We also inserted the list of site workers and conservators, the list of the Museum of Warmia employees as well as a 10 PLN note and 1 PLN and 10 groszy coins. The letters were written in ink and pencil on acid-free paper. At the end, we added the sentence: For the knowledge of the future generations, we are writing in pen on paper, but we have the Internet, pay-cards and the virtual world. The Workers added: In contrast to the majority of construction companies, we are all working on the basis of employment contracts. The finder of the previous one, Rafał Wróbel from Boguchwały made the capsule of copper sheet. The capsule was soldered tightly to be resistant to moisture and time. The site manager Robert Karwacki packed it.
